Funeral Today
Funeral services were held today at Rochester, N.Y. for Raph Kirkpatrick, 69, former local resident who died Wednesday evening at Rochester, where he had resided for the past several years. A son of Taylor and Ida Creel Kirkpatrick, he was born on a farm two and one half miles east of Bardolph. He attended school at Western and then went to Iowa, where he taught for several years and was graduated from the college at Ames. Following his marriage in 1910 to Edith Hamilton, he obtained employment in Panama,. and the couple moved there, returning to New York a number of years ago. The widow, two sons, a granddaughter, and three survive. Ray Hamilton of Good Hope is a brother in law.
