Tom Cahill, a former citizen of this place brought in the remains of his mother (Mary Taylor Cahill), an old lady 89 years old, who died in Iowa (March 19, 1913). The funeral was conducted by Rev. Joseph Taylor at the home of J. P. Roberts, Saturday. Internment in the Spring Creek Cemetery.
